Ready Day One Staffing “RD1” employment center provides career education and support services to youth in the greater Richmond Virginia area. RD1 offers a direction to the future by preparing youths 14 to 25 years of age, careers as well as
reinforcing life skills.

We believe that every young person has the right to access the resources that she or he needs to become a responsible and productive citizen. Through our youth employment services, participants receive job readiness training, entrepreneurship education, job placement, and referrals to local employers. Youth participate in life-skills training to enhance their
character development . These objectives are achieved by providing training and workshops including money management, problem solving and team building. Guest speakers, college preparation curriculum and internship opportunities are other aspects of the program designed to provide give young people with marketable skills and the opportunity to attain successful careers..
